Onaga is the most prized snapper in Hawaii and possibly the entire Pacific Ocean. This highly popular Hawaiian snapper has a pronounced luscious flavor. The scarlet red ruby color of this snapper presents a stunning presentation.
Hawaii Onaga is an excellent source of healthy, extra lean protein. It is also low in saturated fat and low in sodium. It is rich in niacin, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, phosphorus and selenium. Hawaii Onaga also provides about 875 mg of omega-3's per 4 ounce serving of fresh fish.
